I have an L3130 GST and I would like to know what gear most people use for normal operating like spreading sand and what RPM do you normally run at?

This would really depend on your sanding equipment and whether it requires some specific PTO or engine RPM to spread properly. I think you'll need to experiment to find which gear and RPM give you the right amount of sand per area with your rig and the sand you're using.
